About Us

eano was formed in October 2009 by Oscar short-listed film and commercials director, Carl Prechezer, and advertising agency account director and writer, Barnaby Benson.

Carl Prechezer – Managing Director
The youngest ever recipient of the BAFTA SHELL FULLBRIGHT SCHOLARSHIP in Film and Television Carl studied screenwriting at USC. His short film, The Cutter, starring Brian Cox, secured the Oscar shortlisting and led to the much-loved British surf movie, Blue Juice staring Ewan McGregor and Catherine Zeta Jones. From these early beginnings Carl worked as writer and director in the UK and the USA, with extensive experience of both the global and independent broadcast sectors, scripting for US studios, the BBC and C4. He was a brand advocate for Sony worldwide, directed and produced a documentary on the London 2008 mayoral race, and has recently completed a number of films for the US retailer Best Buy.

Aside from his work in film and television Carl directs commercials for many brands creating the award winning series for Bertolli (Unilever), the lead football world cup campaign of 2006 for Coca Cola and many more.

He writes film and animation scripts for leading brands and recently co-wrote, with Carl Prechezer, a series of brand dramas for Best Buy.
